08/08/08 was not only the start of the Beijing Olympic games, but more interestingly Nike’s new lifestyle label. In turn the Nike brand is launching Nike’s new sportswear space in Shoreditch! This cool new space will definitely be able to fit in nicely on the fashionable East London scene (where it is only right that you own your own pair of Nike dunks or Retro Air Max 90 sneakers).
The Nike brand has continually allowed itself the creative space to evolve and re-shape with collaborations from Nemo etc and also allowing their consumers to get creative with Photo I.D; where they can choose the designs and colours of their sneakers.
The opening in East London is surely showing Nike is a brand that is trying to have its fingers on the pulse. The shop is due to open soon so go and grab some dope hi-tops if you’re in the depths of Shoreditch!
