If you're looking for a cerebral and philosophical meditation, don't go see this. I'm sorry, it's not an epic journey of emotion and intelligent writing. However, it is an action packed adventure, and if you don't take it too seriously, it can be an engaging and entertaining watch.

Essentially it's the same story, Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) has been the victim of a radiation experiment gone wrong, and now when enraged he turns into the Hulk (cgi). He moves to the favelas of Rio de Janeiro in an attempt to curb his rage induced metamorphosis, although he still pines for his past love Betty Ross (Liv Tyler).

Betty Ross' father, General Ross (William Hurt) wants to track down his freak of nature and steal the secrets of what he believes could become the super weapon of the future. So the cat and mouse games ensue, in Prison Break style almost get caught but get away somehow etc. etc.

Tim Roth decides his experience coupled with some gamma poisoning could be a legitimate opposition for the Hulk, and the now blood-crazed soldier chases down the hulk, and I'm sure you can guess who wins.

The highlight of the film for me was when good Hulk smashed a police car into two, put them on as boxing gloves, and punched seven shades out of bad Hulk. Truly amazing.

This film made me feel like a 12 year old boy again, and I am not ashamed to say I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed it. It will captivate any child, and if you're capable of destroying your aloof mature outlook, you'll love it too.
