How long have you had this room?
Not even a year, since I moved back home last summer after living in South East London for uni, I've lived in this house all my life though.

What do you have on your walls?
Loads of stuff. Shoes hooked over the cornicing, Vintage bathing suits, tacky masks, jewellery and bags hung from hooks - loads of postcards, polaroids, my own drawings and photography, posters, club flyers. Pretty much anything I see that I can draw inspiration from. I also have maps of Paris, Berlin and London that I've picked up in Hostels.

What is the most precious object in your room?
Hmmm, everything in my room means a lot to me, most of it is irreplacable vintage finds. Things that mean the most to me are my mum's 1970s Biba dress, it doesn't fit me but I love it. And maybe my cats... I have six, but they don't live in my room, they just pass through when they feel like it.

What do you love most about your room?
It's cosy and it has a high ceiling which I love. I've really made it my own space and people always love coming here and looking at all the stuff I've collected. I love my bed too even though it's really tiny.

What do you hate?
It's downstairs! Between the kitchen and the living room. So people are always walking in and being nosey! It opens onto the garden which will be nice in summer but that also means I have a cat flap in my room which is really annoying at night when the cats come racing in and out.

How does your room reflect your personality?
Umm, it's just really me. It's colourful and messy and I have way too much stuff for such a small place. I really love photography and I put photos on my walls. It's just really personal and has a lot of character.

Do you collect anything?
YES, loads of stuff!
Cameras, I have about 40 of them. I collect old photos and photo albums I find. I wouldn't really call it collecting but I have multiples of things like plaid shirts, sunglasses, vintage watch pendants, green hats, typewriters, fashion magazines, etc... oh and little tins that look like houses.

What is the strangest thing in your room?
I don't think I have anything that strange, it all seems normal to me but then I guess some people might think I have strange taste. I have a dam troll horse thats really odd looking, I have a cross-stitch chart for a Mr. T sampler, I will make it one day .

Whats the most expensive thing in your room?
I don't have expensive things. I have a macbook and an iMac but I wouldn't say they were 'expensive', they're a NECESSITY.

Why did you choose this colour for the walls?
It's sort of an off-white magnolia. I don't like coloured walls, I like pale walls because because they create space... well mine are covered in things so I guess not much in my case. I didn't really have a choice in the colour anyway, just what was left over in Dad's shed at the time.

What can you see from your bedroom window?
These really beautiful tall trees in the park behind my garden, I take polaroids of them at different times of the year and they look so different whether they have leaves or not or if it's misty or late afternoon sun. I've put all the polaroids on my wall and it looks really cool.
